I’ll say time and time again that good design is all about layers and texture – but that’s absolutely not the case when it comes to the finish on your walls!

Most of us West Coaster’s are plagued with this dreaded ‘orange peel’ coating throughout our homes and while this style of wall can poise some very frustrating design dilemmas (say goodbye to your dreams of smooth wallpaper!) – I’ve found through trial and error the absolute easiest way to patch these walls up so you can carry on styling to your hearts content and not lose your deposit if your a renter!!

HOW TO DEMO //

ps. A major tip for using the Homax Wall Texture is to ensure the can is at room temperature & well shaken. You can run it under warm water for a few minutes and then ensure you shake the can for at least two minutes. This should waken up the solution inside and resolve any gunking and spitting that other people have experienced. Following these tips – I didn’t experience any problems whatsoever!
