Guest Bedroom – Concept Boards

Concept Boards – Mood Boards – Inspiration Collage – #Inspo – or whatever term you prefer to use – are PRICELESS tools when working with clients!!!

They help by forming a visual vocabulary which helps define the direction of a project & are a necessary tool in my bag of tricks!!

These concept boards are what we came up with for a client who wanted to redesign her largest guest room into a space that would be inviting and comfortable for long term guests. She moved from the East Coast to California years ago and would often have her family out to stay for weeks at a time so it was important they had a place to stay that felt homely.

The client loved the idea of pairing a soft grey with yellow and that became our jumping off point for the concept boards. We ended up presenting her with two options that played on different parts of her career, personality and aesthetic.

Let us know – which one would you choose?

CONCEPT ONE // feminine, mature & playful

Grey and yellow bedroom concept - graphic and asian style living room or lounge. Blue, yellow, Grey room.

CONCEPT TWO // creative, graphic & structured

Grey and yellow bedroom concept - graphic and artistic style living room or lounge. Blue, yellow, Grey room. Dark grey room with cork and mural walls
